Guangzhou, China – November 18, 2025
China Southern Airlines has revealed its next-generation flagship A350-900 cabin interiors, designed in collaboration with London-based design consultancy tangerine and the airline’s in-house Future Cabin Studio. The unveiling includes an exclusive video showcasing the new Business Plus Suites, marking a bold step in redefining premium travel for global passengers.
As part of its fleet modernisation strategy, China Southern is introducing 10 A350-900 aircraft with a layout that combines cutting-edge technology, refined aesthetics, and cultural heritage. The new cabin configuration features:
- 4 Business Plus Suites at the front of the aircraft, offering enhanced privacy, buddy dining options, and extra-large 4K IFE screens.
- 24 Business Class Suites with privacy doors and spacious seating for a superior experience.
- 307 Economy Class seats, each equipped with 4K HD screens, ensuring comfort and entertainment for all passengers.
The Business Plus Suites, based on Thompson Aerospace’s VantageXL+ platform, are physically separated from the main business cabin by a bulkhead, creating an exclusive zone for premium travellers. The accompanying video highlights the suite’s elegant design, advanced features, and the airline’s commitment to elevating passenger experience.
Sean Cui, Head of Future Cabin Studio at China Southern Airlines, said: “Our new A350 interiors combine style, technology, and a distinctive brand character. This is more than a cabin refresh—it’s a statement of our vision for the future of travel.”
Weiwei He, Director at tangerine, added: “The design reflects a modern interpretation of Chinese elements, seamlessly integrated with global expectations. It celebrates China Southern’s brand values of affinity and refinement while delivering a world-class experience.”
The first A350s with the new interiors are expected to enter service in 2027, reinforcing China Southern’s position as a leader in passenger experience innovation.
