Redesign. Reinvent. Resonate: LOT Polish Airlines cabin vision shared at PEC2026

At the Passenger Experience Conference in Hamburg on 13 April, tangerine and LOT Polish Airlines delivered a joint presentation unveiling the thinking behind LOT’s comprehensive cabin interior redesign, showing how passenger experience can drive both emotional engagement and commercial growth.

The session brought together Matt Round from tangerine and Tomasz Misiak, Deputy Director of Product Development and Customer Experience at LOT Polish Airlines. Together, they explored how a cohesive upgrade of long and short-haul cabins supports LOT’s ambition to become the preferred carrier across Central and Eastern Europe.

The presentation covered the design of interiors across all classes, focusing on comfort, clarity and consistency, while aligning brand identity with passenger needs. A central theme was “Pure Polish” heritage, reimagined for a modern, international audience.

Matt Round spoke about “moving people” physically through better layouts and ergonomics, and emotionally through design storytelling, in order to move the business forward strategically and commercially. He explained the inspiration behind Pure Polish, including references to Poland’s natural copper resources and the rugged yet refined landscapes of the Tatra Mountains.

Tomasz Misiak shared LOT’s perspective on translating this vision into a passenger‑centric product, highlighting how design partnerships and experience initiatives help shape a modern, comfortable and distinctly Polish travel experience both in the air and on the ground.
