Design Director Joins Jury for China Red Star Awards 2019

Adam Loewy meticulously judges the shortlisted entries at the Red Star Awards 2019, China.

Established in 2006, the China Red Star Awards are one of the most influential design awards in China. With tens of thousands of entries from over 30 different countries, the China Red Star Awards showcases some of the best up and coming design.

tangerine’s Studio and Design Director, Adam Loewy had the pleasure of joining eleven other acclaimed members of the design industry in judging the many applicants for this year’s awards, with the winners being announced at the awards ceremony in December, later this year. The awards are aired on many national TV channels, giving all winners the publicity and opportunity to be recognised by a wider audience. After judging 400 shortlisted products Adam was inspired and overwhelmed by the level of talent which he witnessed.

Red Star is an award but also recognised as an international platform, a gathering of world-class innovators who band together to guide the future of this progressive, exciting industry. Red Star Jury awards has seen entries from famous enterprises in China and abroad including Bosch, Samsung, Harman, Kohler, Dyson, Jacob Jensen, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Konicaminolta, BAIC, GAC, SANY, China Eastern Airlines, Asus, Lenovo, Sinian Furniture, Hisense, Galanz, Sacon Group, Robam, Midea, Littleswan, Li-ning, Xiaomi etc.
