Tai-Jung is a talented Design Lead at tangerine, overseeing the resourcing and design direction for projects in the UK and overseas.
Most notably, Tai-Jung has led the design of new rolling stock for tangerine’s strategic partnership with CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. Tai-Jung leads the design teams working in the UK and China on the design production of up to seven trains a year including; High Speed, Maglev, Intercity and Metro. Recently Tai-Jung led tangerines bid partnership for a major UK Infrastructure project, where she was responsible for liaising with overseas partners whilst leading a team of designers from our London studio to ensure successful bid design within ambitious budget and regulatory constraints.
Tai-Jung’s varied sphere of experience has seen her working in transportation, consumer electronics, and for luxury retailers for clients such as HP, TAG Heuer, and Bowers & Wilkins, which she worked on prior to joining tangerine. She also has expertise in retail and cosmetics, in providing human-centred design solutions for new in-store customer experiences.
With 14 years of industry experience, Tai-Jung is a talented, well-versed designer. Her exposure to working on design projects in both Taiwan and the UK means that Tai-Jung has an acute knowledge of designing for different cultures. Additionally, her high level of creative application and problem-solving means that she is an instrumental part of many successful business bids, particularly in the Taiwanese and Chinese Markets.
