Commemorating Queen Elizabeth II

tangerine join in commemorating the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. tangerine Chairman, Martin Darbyshire, who met the Queen on several occasions, leads us in giving thanks for her dedication and service to the United Kingdom and Commonwealth realms.

After decades of exporting design services, we were honoured to receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2019. Steeped in history, the award is the highest accolade to be bestowed by the late Queen on a UK business.

We’re also proud to be a very small part of her commemorative legacy. tangerine was invited to design a fifty pence coin being launched by The Royal Mint to celebrate the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The concept had to capture the significance and friendly spirit of the Games.  Final approval would be for the Chancellor of the Exchequer and, ultimately, Queen Elizabeth II herself.  The winning submission was credited to a young tangerine designer fresh out of art school, whose initials appear on the finished article. The only other person to be represented on the coin is Her Majesty.
